Fernando Acosta Jr. will face a new trial on February 26, accused of Amanda Johnson’s murder. He’s currently free on a $500,000 dollar bond. Amanda Johnson’s remains were found in a burnt car in April 2021. Acosta is charged with tampering with evidence, abusing a corpse, and murder. The trial was rescheduled due to postponed pretrial hearings.
