Texas Game Wardens cracked down this month on illegal flounder fishing along the coast during the annual spawning season closure. They caught a shrimp boat with 38 flounder in violation. Two more boats were cited for possessing 35 flounder. Another boat was caught with 8 flounder. Two other boats were nabbed with 52 flounder, and one with 33 flounder. Remember, flounder fishing is closed from Nov. 1 to Dec. 14th to protect their migration and spawning.
