A cyclist, Albert Llants, died in Palacios on Nov. 8 after being hit by a truck while riding in the wrong direction on TX Highway 35. The accident happened around 6 a.m. near Palacios Airport. Llants, 30, was pronounced dead at the scene. The truck driver, in a Ford 150, wasn’t injured and hasn’t been charged.
