Winter coat drives in Matagorda and Wharton counties are helping people stay warm. The Crisis Center accepts coats for all ages, and you don’t need to be a client to receive a coat. They work with schools and police for distribution and also help homeless individuals. They need more men’s coats. Drop off donations at 3010 Sixth St., Bay City, or 620 N. Fulton St.
