Bay City Gas and the city will transform an unused baseball park into a BMX bike park for junior high and high school kids. Kevin Hecht, the company’s director, says it’ll cost almost nothing. The park’s location has restrooms, parking, and shade, making it perfect for bikes. City Manager Shawna Burkhart sees it as a great way to repurpose a challenging piece of land.
