Four places in Wharton are up for recognition by the Beautification Commission this Wednesday. They’ll decide if Lone Star Cleaners and three homes at 1916 Willowbend, 1505 Crestmont, and 608 Bell deserve certificates for making the city beautiful. The meeting is at 4:30 pm in Wharton City Hall, will also cover updates on the dog park, civic center planting, and the painted rock garden.
