An EF0 tornado with winds reaching 85 MPH struck Treasure Garden RV park in Edna on Monday night, confirmed by the National Weather Service. Three RVs were flipped over at the park near State Highway 111, the only area in town affected by the tornado. The rest of the town suffered damage from straight-line winds reaching up to 75 MPH. To assist Edna residents impacted by the storm, the Jackson County Voluntary Organizations Active In Disaster group is hosting a community assistance day this Saturday, starting at 7:30 A.M. at the Jackson County Courthouse back parking lot.
