Victoria’s residents and first responders came together Tuesday for the 40th annual National Night Out. The day was filled with events, starting from 4 p.m., aimed at fostering relationships between the community and first responders. Highlights included a meal for seniors at Vitality Senior Living, sponsored by Chick-fil-A, and interactive sessions with firefighters. Other community groups like the Boys & Girls Club and Christ’s Kitchen also hosted events, featuring games, arts and crafts, and face painting. The day concluded with a showcase of robotics and a 3-D printed heart at United Baptist Church’s event.
