In Wharton County, only 3% of voters have voted on proposed state Constitutional changes. Voting is open all week, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mon-Wed and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thu-Fri. More voters are needed, so come out and vote, says the Election Administrator. The statewide ballot has 14 propositions, with the proposed increase in Homestead exemptions getting the most attention.
