Early voting for the state Constitutional amendments starts on today. There are 14 propositions for the registered voters in Texas to consider, including a tax savings for homeowners, protections for Texas growers, a possible raise in retired teachers pay, and a proposal to create a $5 billion fund to expand high-speed internet throughout the state. Voting will be done via a ballot which the voter then walks to the ballot box and places inside. Of registered voters, only 50 requested ballot by mail for this election.
