City officials and county officials’ spouses can now get a promotion at Victoria Regional Airport. The promotion entails a day flight to Houston and back on SkyWest, a value of $120 per person. This promotion was initially considered for county employees and their spouses. However, during the discussion, it was suggested to extend it to include first responders and city of Victoria staff, along with their spouses. The promotion will be available on a first-come, first-served basis for all eligible parties, and the aim is to encourage more enplanements to help the airport reach its target of 10,000 enplanements, which would secure a $1 million grant from the Federal Aviation Association.
