Their goal is to assess if there was potential abuse, neglect, or violations of state standards. Fortunately, the injured child is now stable after being taken to an out-of-town hospital. The findings from this inquiry will be reported to the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, which oversees child care facility licensing in Texas.
