Over 8,500 acres of Texas land have burned since August 1st. The governor has declared a disaster state in 191 counties hit by wildfires. The STAR Fund provides support, reimbursing eligible agricultural producers up to $4,000 or 50% of eligible expenses. The focus is on rebuilding fences, restoring operations, and addressing other disaster-related costs. Eligibility requires location within counties listed in the governor’s disaster declaration.
