The Vape N’ More smoke shop in El Campo has opened its doors at a busy intersection, and the public can now see inside thanks to the bright lights permitted by its special use permit. However, the scrolling signs initially seen will have to be stopped. The City Manager, Courtney Sladek, explained that the scrolling and flashing signs are only allowed to run at five-second intervals, and the store is only permitted to have one sign with its name. The City Inspections Department is currently working with the company to address this issue.
