A man has been arrested for a deadly shooting in Richmond. Abel Sosa, 20, is accused of murdering 22-year-old Yaima Verjes. The incident occurred on May 10th on Pultar Road, where Verjes was found with a gunshot wound to the head and pronounced dead at the scene. Sosa, who was Verjes’ boyfriend, was present during the shooting. After an investigation, Sosa was arrested and is now held in Fort Bend County Jail on a $500,000 bond. Sheriff Eric Fagan expressed his condolences and appreciated the efforts of the deputies and investigators in bringing some peace to the victim’s family.
