Members of the Matagorda County Amateur Radio Club are gearing up for the National Amateur Radio Field Day exercise. It will take place from 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 24th, to Sunday morning near the East Pavilion in LeTulle Park, west of Bay City. This event is open to the public. Last year, over 30,000 amateur radio enthusiasts joined from various locations across North America. The club plays a crucial role in the County Emergency Plan.
