A woman suspected of shooting a family member in Wharton has turned herself in to the police. Tamya Myles, 21, is now in custody facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of firearm by a felon. The incident occurred on May 1t when Myles allegedly shot Carlos Brown in the upper left torso. Brown was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries and has since been released.
