Controversy erupted at the Bay City Council meeting last night when local resident – and our owner – David Rowell challenged the Mayor and City Manager on why they’ve done nothing in response to a report they received from their own Mayor Pro Tem, last year, advocating establishing a rail quiet zone in Bay City. Both Mayor Nelson and City Manager Burkhart declined to comment in public.
