A tragic incident occurred in Danevang, where an El Campo mother is facing criminal charges after a one-vehicle crash that killed her two-year-old child and left two others injured. State troopers alleged that 25-year-old Ashley Olguin was driving drunk when her car went off the road and landed on its top. Sadly, her child who wasn’t secured in a car seat died at the scene, while her three-year-old child suffered severe injuries, and her four-year-old child was also injured, even though secured in a car seat.
