El Campo is on track for a major sidewalk project, thanks to a potential $2.8 million state grant. The project would expand sidewalks on several streets, including East Jackson and Railroad. The best part is the city might not have to pay the 20% grant match because of existing credits from other projects. This project will provide safe and easy access to parks, shopping and businesses.
