After a recent positive report into the feasibility of preserving and reopening the historic Luther Hotel in Palacios, yesterday saw Judge Polly Spencer grant leaders of the preservation group standing in the court battle to save the hotel. Judge Spencer seems to have already indicated the earlier contract to sell and demolish the hotel is null and void, leaving the way open for an alternate offer from developers keen to restore the hotel.
