Sandy Kruger from (Referio) Refugio won first place in Street Rods at the Wharton Police Department’s fifth annual Cops ‘N Rodders Car Show held at the Wharton Civic Center last wekkend. Despite a heavy rainfall the night before, it turned out to be a beautiful day, filled with great food, spectators, and an awesome family environment. They were able to raise over $10,000 dollars which will go towards unbudgeted equipment, a scholarship, and other departmental outreach programs.
