The Vape N’ More Smoke Shop is hoping to set up shop at the intersection of Jackson and Mechanic Streets in El Campo. But before they can do that, they need the approval of the Planning & Zoning Commission. A recent change in city ordinances requires all smoke shops to obtain a special use permit before opening. If approved, the business will operate from the same location as Texas Car Title & Payday Loan. The city inspections department and planner Krystal Hasselmeier have reviewed the business and found it to be in compliance. So far, there’s been no opposition from nearby businesses.
