Senior Citizens Day at the Wharton County Youth Fair was a hit! Around 150-200 seniors gathered for bingo, chicken noodle soup, door prizes, and contests. The seniors enjoyed visiting vendors, musical and dance performances by Hutchins Elementary students, health screenings, and polka music and dancing. Contest winners included the longest married couple, most recently married couple, most children, oldest woman, and oldest man. The event coordinators were thrilled to offer seniors a chance to come together and socialize.
