The Sargent Volunteer Fire Department BBQ Cook Off & Fundraiser is happening on April 14th and 15th, and there’s going to be live music and dancing on Friday night, as well as a raffle with amazing prizes like guns, smokers, and more on Saturday. The fire department relies heavily on this event as their main fundraiser of the year, since they only get $2500 from the county. They’re still in need of auction items, so if you can donate, drop them off at the fire station on Wednesday or Friday between noon and 4.
