The Wharton County Youth Fair took a hit during the pandemic, losing over $392 thousand dollars in operating revenue. The fair’s president, Ed Weinheimer, says the losses are probably even greater, But there’s some good news – the County Commissioners stepped in to help out by transferring $50,000 from the American Rescue Plan Act funds for improvements to the bleachers in the Ammann Barn.
