Murder trial linked to the death of Victoria woman

The murder trial linked to the death of a Victoria woman continued Tuesday, with witnesses taking the stand on the trial’s second day. In February of 2022, Tinasha Upton was shot and killed while driving her Ford Expedition on Lova Drive. A 17-year-old woman and two juveniles were arrested shortly after the incident and charged with murder. Last week, one of the juveniles pleaded guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to 20 years in prison. Tuesday the remaining juvenile heard testimonies from witnesses, including Upton’s children, who were in the car at the time of the shooting.
