Junior Market Poultry Auction

In a historic event at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Junior Market Poultry Auction, poultry were sold for record-breaking prices to generous donors. 18 year old Kamryn Till, from Nada, sold her Grand Champion Junior Market broilers for a new world record of $300,000 dollars. Gage Wilson, age 8, from El Campo FFA, sold his Reserve Grand Champion Junior Market Broilers for $175,000, breaking last year’s world record. The event promotes agriculture, educates and entertains the public, supports Texas youth, showcases Western heritage and provides year-round educational support within the community.
