Officials at El Campo High School are investigating after a hidden camera was discovered in the auditorium dressing room last week. The camera captured up to four girls changing and district officials say that the male responsible has been identified. Police have not yet decided what criminal charges, if any, will be made. One of the girls discovered the camera and reported it to school administrators. Recording people without their consent in a changing area or bathroom is a state felony and carries a penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
