Harvest House community pantry

Multiple churches in Bay City are coming together to address the food shortage in their community through the Harvest House community pantry. It’s even more impressive that 30 volunteers from six churches are working together to distribute groceries to 300 families every week. The Victoria Food Bank is helping the pantry by allowing food to be purchased at a low price of 19 cents per pound. However, it’s concerning that the food bank’s inventory is low due to the increased demand and less supply. Donated items for the month of March can be dropped off at Nichols Street Church of Christ.
