The Victoria City Council is set to vote on supporting a new affordable housing project at tonight’s meeting, according to the Victoria Advocate. The project is a 68-unit affordable senior community on John Stockbauer Drive incuding almost 45 hundred acres of land. The development of the project, called The Victorian, is expected to cost $14.7 million and will target seniors 55 and older that spend more than 30% of their monthly income on housing. Also tonight the council will hear annual reports from the Victoria Police Department, Victoria Fire Department and Municipal Court.
