The Houston Police Department says seven officers returned fire on a suspect who shot at them after a chase. The suspect died at the scene, but no officers were injured. An investigation is underway at the scene of the shooting along the US 59 feeder road and US 90 in Sugar Land. The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office along with the Texas Department of Public Safety will be looking into the fatal officer-involved shooting. The high-speed chase came to a deadly end after a 20 minute chase.
