Leader News reports a Robstown woman was released from county jail shortly after pleading guilty to vehicle theft and having two charges of aggravated robbery dismissed by prosecutors in Wharton County’s 23rd District Court. Judge Ben Hardin gave 28-year-old Karly Raean Fitzgerald credit for all 217 days of her state jail felony sentence during the the hearing in late January. Fitzgerald was one of three suspects arrested for a multi-county crime spree on March of 2020 that included armed robbery, auto theft and vandalism from Corpus Christi through El Campo to Refugio County– including robbery with a gun and a police chase.
