Rueben Owens played running back for the West team and El Campo head coach Chad Worrell coached linebackers in the All-American Bowl on Saturday at the Alamodome. Owens carried seven times for 26 yards and had three returns for 49 yards, including a 25-yard kickoff return, in the West’s 55-17 loss to the East. Owens was able to get a glimpse of what to expect next season at Texas A&M.
