Bay City High School parents argued with the City over keeping the Valiant pool heated during the recent winter freeze. The City’s stance is for the common good of the taxpayers, as funds allocated towards the City’s pools are limited. City Manager Shawna Burkhart says that all decisions are being made for the entire city’s financial well-being and not just for a select few that utilize the pool.
