El Campo basketball showed out against Bay City at the Blackcat Holiday Tournament last Wednesday. In
their last few tuneup games before district play, the Ricebirds took down the Blackcats 73-46. El Campo’s defense held Bay City to single-digit scoring in the first and second quarters. Ricebird junior Oliver Miles shocked Bay City with 19 firsthalf points outscoring the Blackcats single-handly.
