On Monday, December 19, 2022, the Bay City Police Department held a promotional ceremony. The ceremony was held in the Bay City Municipal Court room with Police Chief Christella Rodriguez officiating. Sergeant Edward Guzman III was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant. Guzman has over 15 years of law enforcement experience. Several members of the police department as well as family and friends were present.
