An 18-wheeler hauling sod slid off the road and flipped over earlier this week on FM 102. The driver apparently allowed the trailer portion to slip into the grassy area causing it to flip onto the trailer’s back. The road was closed for cleanup and removal of the truck. There were no injuries. Wharton police and fire departments responded to the call. The driver, Miguel Angel Moreno of Columbus, was charged with failure to drive in a single lane.
