The Bay City Lions Club is holding their Annual Rice Festival starting Thursday Oct. 20th thru Sunday the 23rd. The festival is a large event that is open among four days. In addition to the festival, the Rice Festival Parade, Rice Queen Pageant, and Rice Dish Roundup are also taking place. The event starts with the Rice Dish Roundup on Oct. 18 at the multi-purpose building at the fairgrounds from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Rice Dish Roundup features members of the county cook a rice dish that will be taste tested and the winner
will be featured in the program.
The carnival will open from 5 p.m. to midnight and on Saturday, the annual Rice Festival Parade kicks off with the festivities starting at 10 a.m
