On October 19th Bay City Police Department’s Interim Chief Christella Rodriguez swore in two new police officers — Officer Ashley Rubio and Officer Tyler Jackson. Rubio graduated from Foster High school in 2015. Rubio went to Wharton County junior college to continue her education and received her associate degree in law enforcement. She attended the Wharton County Junior college police academy and graduated June 17th of this year. Jackson graduated from George Ranch High School in 2015, then attended a semester at Wharton County Junior College and worked at AMC movie theaters. Jackson spent the next couple of years attending college working on his Criminal Justice Degree.
