A notice of election for the upcoming Nov. 8 General Election was approved in Monday’s Commissioners’ Court. Early voting will begin on Monday, Oct. 24 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bay City Service Center
and Palacios’ Navigation District #1. Voting will be different this year. There is new equipment and voters to should expect some delays with the new technology. Instructional information and videos have been posted on the Matagorda County Clerk’s Facebook page and on the Matagorda County’s website under the County Clerk tab. Getting familiar with the new technology will drastically reduce wait times and delays.
