For the second time in recent years, Bay City Police Chief Robert Lister has been suspended from his duties on the police force. Bay City Manager Shawna Burkhart says by the end of September they hope to have a resolution to the 30 day suspension which began on August 31st. Burkhart plans to conduct an external review of the police department. Police Captain Christella Rodriguez is now serving as interim police chief.
