The El Campo POlice department says El Campo Police Department Officers, Sgt. J. A. Whitely and Cpl. F. D. Rhodehamel, working Operation Lone Star on US 59, stopped a traffic violator for speeding today at approximately 4:10 pm. The stop led to the arrest of 18 year old Jeremiah Harper for Possession of Marijuana greater than 4oz less than 5lbs. The vehicle was also occupied by a female wanted out of Victoria, Texas for Theft, who claimed to be pregnant, and her three year old child.
