The Wharton County Sheriff’s Office says On Friday, June 24, 2022, at approximately 5:15 p.m., the Wharton County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene of a crash on Business 59 at Walters Road in Wharton. Multiple people were injured in the crash. The Office has photos posted on their Facebook page, and those are of the vehicle that caused the crash and left the scene. The vehicle shown appears to be a newer model Buick Enclave or GMC Acadia.
