Governor Greg Abbott has announced that U.S. military installations in Texas had a more than $114 billion impact on the state’s economy in 2021, and supported more than 622,000 jobs in communities across the state. He announced the results of a study completed by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts at the request of the Texas Military Preparedness Commission (TMPC).
