At least 21 homes have been destroyed because of a couple of wildfires in North Texas. The Associated Press says the Chalk Mountain Fire near Glen Rose destroyed 16 homes and damaged five others. It burned around 10 square miles as of midday Wednesday. As of Wednesday that fire was 10 percent contained. The fire was burning mostly short grass, brush, and juniper. The fire at Possum Kingdom Lake destroyed five homes. It burned 500 acres. As of Wednesday that fire had been 15 percent contained.
