A bomb threat that prompted people at an El Campo hotel to clear out – turned out to be a hoax. Leader-news.com says El Campo police officers were called to the Lone Star Inn midday on Sunday July 3rd to investigate the threat. Police say a guy went up to a couple of employees and threatened to blow up the hotel. Police went into the man’s room at the hotel, and found materials. There were no injuries. The man had reportedly been staying in the hotel.
