On Tuesday Wharton County Sheriff’s deputies responded to Loves Truck Stop in Hungerford to investigate a diesel theft where multiple people attempted to use “skimmer” cards at several diesel pumps. When deputies arrived Roberto Marin of Houston, and Luis Mancias of Katy took off on foot. Deputies captured and arrested the two fleeing suspects and arrested Luis Enamarado also of Houston. In total, the suspects pumped $647 dollars worth of diesel. All three were transported to the Wharton County Jail.
