Matagorda County is moving forward with its annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection
event that is scheduled for Oct. 1 at the Matagorda County Fairgrounds. The event allows county residents to dispose of household Hazardous Waste such as oil-based paints; motor oil, pesticides and lead-acid batteries. Household hazardous waste is any product labeled: toxic, poison, corrosive, flammable, combustible or irritant.
